Fall Decor: Add Autumn Into Your Home– Fall is finally in full swing! It is time to start decorating to celebrate! Try some of these great DIY ideas for adding Autumn to your home!

Sweater Candle Holders

Put old sweaters or thrift store finds to good use! Simply cut the sleeves off of an old sweater and  place them around your favorite fall scented candle. You can decorate it even further by adding some fake fall leaves and colored yarn!

Wheat Accents

Add some of the fall changed to the inside of your home! Gather a few uniform wheat stalks and bundle them with twine, yarn, or anything rustic. This neutral accent goes well on a mantel or table to great a rustic fall autumn feel. See how at:

Painted Pumpkins

Of course pumpkins of any kind are perfect decorations! Spice things up a bit and paint your pumpkins! This is actually a great craft idea to do with the kids as well! There are multiple spray paint options such as glitter, gold, or silver. Pick out your favorite and spray away!

Hanging Center Piece

While we love to create elaborate center pieces for our tables, especially for big events like Thanksgiving, they can get in the way! Try a hanging center piece or mobile. Hang leaves from clear string or other garland from lights above the table or learn to create your own fall mobile here: http://www.hgtv.com/handmade/dress-up-your-autumn-table-with-fall-leaves/index.html

Fall Wreaths

Making a wreath for any season is so simple and looks fantastic! Head to your nearest craft store and pick out foam or grape vine wreath and some accents. You can cover it in burlap, fake leaves or flowers, and even add words or family initials. To learn how to make a mini pumpkin wreath from Putka pods check out this tutorial.
