Things to do Near Westerville, Ohio: March – Are you tired of cold and dreary weather? You can bet we are! Now that it’s March, there’s hope that it will be warm and sunny soon, but spring weather can be finicky. Between rainy weather, cold spells and that almost-for-sure last snowstorm that happens, you can once again be trapped inside for days. The good news is that there are tons of fun and exciting events taking place in the Westerville area this month! Check them out, get rid of that cabin fever and have a great time with your family, friends or someone special.

Here are some of our favorite things going on in March:

  • Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Washington Capitals, March 3, 7 p.m., Nationwide Arena: Cheer on Columbus’ own hockey team as they take on the Capitals at Nationwide Arena! A night of hockey could be a fun date night or family event. Head to the Blue Jackets website to learn more about kids’ activities, ticket information, etc.
  • Arnold Sports Festival, March 5-8, throughout Columbus: Whether you’re an athlete or sports fan, the Arnold is a can’t miss event in Columbus, drawing thousands of people into its crowds.   • Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, March 14, Historic Dublin: Where else would you head for St. Patrick’s Day in Ohio besides Dublin?
